I wrote a little something last week.
I wrote a fleeting, fragment call to arms. I asked the young ones--a term I now realize is so liberal in interpretation that it seems unfair to define--to come out into the fields and stand beside the elders, to present the work they have themselves, the trade they have to give and offer and bless by.
The topic was simple: you may be young, but you have something worth saying. What is it?
Now, here, we are going to share. We are going to link up and link arms and whisper and shout and dance and sing over the good things with which we have been entrusted. There is a link up below, open for the next week, and I invite you young ones--under 30, arbitrary, I know--to share what you're doing, dreaming, thinking right now about what you have been gifted to say. And you older ones--again, forgive the arbitrary--can join this dance too, can whisper why you need us to speak, to tells us what we have to offer you in turn as you have offered much to us.
